We imported our
first Greyhound, Queen's Girl, from Sweden in 1969. We were mostly interested
in the racing but our dogs' offspring was successful in show rings as
well. We were granted the Vuolasvirta reward for successful breeding of
Greyhounds in 1982. Our most successful show dog was the English import Fin
Ch Solstrand Fantasia; her daughter Myrskytuuli Natalia gained the title of
International Champion. We were actively involved with the Greyhounds -
both in show rings and racing - for about 15 years.
